Football Game Preview: Rangeview Raiders vs. Vista PEAK Prep Bison + How To Watch

The Rangeview Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Vista PEAK Prep Bison at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Rangeview lost to Legacy at home by a 28-13 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Lightning: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Vista PEAK Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They enjoyed a cozy 35-21 win over Horizon on Thursday. The Bison pushed the score to 35-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hawks cut but never quite recovered from.

Rangeview better keep an eye on Tyrone Smiley. He was instrumental in Vista PEAK Prep's win, rushing for 233 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 12.9 yards per carry. Smiley also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Bison are 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise. Isaiah Watson was another key player, picking up 153 receiving yards and two scores.

Rangeview's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Vista PEAK Prep, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Rangeview didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Vista PEAK Prep in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 30-26 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
