Football Recap: Archbishop Moeller Falls Short Against Ranked Chicago Mt. Carmel

Archbishop Moeller is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Chicago Mt. Carmel. The Fighting Crusaders and the Caravan were almost perfectly matched up, but the Fighting Crusaders suffered a 43-42 loss. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (41), the Fighting Crusaders still had to take the loss.

Archbishop Moeller's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Moeller will host Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against St. Rita at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
