Baseball Recap: Airline Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Airline and Dutchtown squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Airline had to settle for second. They lost 7-0 to the Griffins. The game marked the first time this year in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Airline's defeat dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Dutchtown, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-13 record this season.

While Airline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
