St. John Paul II had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers with a sharp 11-1 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

St. John Paul II let Silas Latimer and Levarius McClure II run wild. Latimer scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while McClure II scored a run while going 2-for-3.

St. John Paul II was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as FAMU DRS only posted a batting average of .125.

St. John Paul II has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for FAMU DRS, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Coming up, St. John Paul II will challenge North Florida Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. FAMU DRS does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
