Volleyball Recap: Woodland Christian Comes Up Short

Woodland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Golden Sierra Grizzlies.

Woodland Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-21.

Woodland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Golden Sierra, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Woodland Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Lindhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Golden Sierra will square off against rival Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
