Baseball Recap: Booker Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Booker couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Nazareth Swifts on Thursday, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Swifts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Booker and nudges their season record down to 13-6. As for Nazareth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Booker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nazareth, they will challenge O'Donnell on the 17th. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Swifts surely won't give up without a fight.
