Doc Needham Game Report: vs South

Doc Needham posted a new career-low in earned runs on Tuesday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Needham and Valley Center will venture away from home to challenge Andover Central on Tuesday. The Hornets have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
