Volleyball Recap: Rutland Find Success

Rutland won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hurricanes came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rutland took both sets by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0.

Rutland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Central, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Rutland and Central will both be playing Putnam County the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Hurricanes will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
