Basketball Game Preview: Norwich Eagles vs. Skyline Thunderbirds

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles face off against the Thunderbirds on Tuesday. Norwich will be strutting in after a victory while Skyline will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Norwich made easy work of Attica and carried off a 53-29 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Skyline suffered their biggest loss since January 16th on Friday. They lost 65-43 to Cunningham. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 71st).

Norwich has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Skyline, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
