Volleyball Recap: Wayne Trace Triumphs

Wayne Trace posted their closest victory since October 10, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the St. John's Bluejays. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Torree Sinn paced Wayne Trace's offense, picking up 13 kills. Sinn got some help from Olivia Zartman and her 15 assists. Lexi Moore controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Wayne Trace and bumps their season record up to 2-6. As for St. John's, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Wayne Trace has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Bluffton on the 8th. As for St. John's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Van Wert on the 9th.
