Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Arvada West

Arvada West won the last time they faced Boulder and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-21.

Evan Kabat paced Arvada West's offense, picking up five kills. Kabat got some help from Kei Martin and his 14 assists. Thomas 'Max' Herbert controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Arvada West's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Boulder, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arvada West will challenge Centaurus at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boulder, they will take on Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
