Softball Game Preview: Comer Tigers vs. Talladega Tigers

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Tuesday.

The home team had come away the winner the last three times Comer and Vincent had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Comer lost 24-11 to Vincent on Monday. The Tigers have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Kylie Harrison made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Nat Price also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, Talladega was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Saks, falling 18-7.

Comer now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Talladega, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Comer skirted past Talladega 14-12 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does Comer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Talladega turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
