Baseball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson lost against West Covina back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 5-2 to the Bulldogs.

Wilson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Isidro, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Wilson has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for West Covina, they pushed their record up to 15-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

While Wilson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
