Volleyball Game Preview: South Shore Vo-Tech Vikings vs. Carver Crusaders

The South Shore Vo-Tech Vikings will head out to face off against the Carver Crusaders at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with South Shore Vo-Tech sitting on 13 straight wins and Carver on eight.

On Wednesday, South Shore Vo-Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over Bristol-Plymouth RVT, taking the game 3-1.

South Shore Vo-Tech found their leader in freshman Luca Torrey, who had 18 digs and three aces.

South Shore Vo-Tech was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Carver earned a 3-1 win over Mashpee on Wednesday.

South Shore Vo-Tech's record now sits at 16-1. As for Carver, their record is now 17-2.

South Shore Vo-Tech might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Carver in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
