Soccer Recap: Roncalli Catholic Takes a Loss

Roncalli Catholic lost against South Sioux City back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crimson Pride fell 3-1 to the Cardinals. Roncalli Catholic have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jordan Martinez, who's now up to four this season.

Roncalli Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for South Sioux City, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Roncalli Catholic didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Gross Catholic on the 10th. As for South Sioux City, they will face off against Western Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
