Soccer Recap: Monterey Takes a Loss

Monterey lost against Jackson County two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats lost 5-1 to the Blue Devils. Monterey have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monterey's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Jackson County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Monterey will take on Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Monterey are facing Smith County at the right time seeing as Smith County are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Jackson County, they will square off against DeKalb County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
