While Shadow Ridge's victory against Somerset Sky Pointe wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eagles 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Shadow Ridge were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Cimarron-Memorial's offense. They fell just short of Cheyenne by a score of 1-0 on Monday.

Cimarron-Memorial's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Shadow Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-2.

Shadow Ridge beat Cimarron-Memorial by a goal in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-1. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
