Highland Home was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 14-9 to the Goshen Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Highland Home's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Goshen, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Coming up, Highland Home will challenge Park Crossing at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highland Home has given up an average of 15.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Goshen, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 17-0 loss against Luverne on the 4th.
