Basketball Recap: Cranberry Area Comes Up Short

Cranberry Area lost against Clarion Area back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cranberry Area Berries took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clarion Area Bobcats.

Nathan Frederick was nothing short of spectacular for Clarion Area: he posted 25 points. The dominant performance gave Frederick a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Mason Burford, who put up 14 points and seven boards.

Cranberry Area's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Clarion Area, their record is now 14-5.

Cranberry Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-60 win against Cochranton on the 7th. As for Clarion Area, they have also already played their next contest, a 60-57 victory against Redbank Valley on the 7th.
