Basketball Recap: Westchester Country Day Comes Up Short

Westchester Country Day lost against High Point Christian Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Westchester Country Day Wildcats came up short against the High Point Christian Academy Cougars, falling 72-52. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Cougars are ranked 24th).

Westchester Country Day now has a losing record at 4-5. As for High Point Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Westchester Country Day will face off against Greensboro Day School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for High Point Christian Academy, they will challenge Fairmont at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
