Basketball Game Preview: North Greene Huskies vs. Humboldt Vikings

The North Greene Huskies will venture away from home to take on the Humboldt Vikings at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a 19-game winning streak alive.

Last Monday, North Greene earned a 64-53 win over Oliver Springs. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Bobcats are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Humboldt sidestepped Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering for a 51-49 victory.

Humboldt pushed their record up to 29-5 with the win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.1 points over those games. As for North Greene, their victory bumped their record up to 27-4.
