Meanwhile, Hampton Roads Academy came into Thursday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Summit Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-1-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Hampton Roads Academy, their record now sits at 4-5-1.

Summit Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Hampton Roads Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2022 as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
