Basketball Game Preview: Harrison Hoyas vs. Hillgrove Hawks

Harrison is 0-10 against Hillgrove since December of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Harrison Hoyas will challenge the Hillgrove Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Harrison ended up a good deal behind Pebblebrook and lost 61-44. While losing is never fun, the Hoyas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Falcons are ranked 38th).

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Hillgrove challenged South Cobb on Tuesday. Hillgrove took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Cobb.

Hillgrove's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Harrison came up short against Hillgrove in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 68-62. Can Harrison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
