Baseball Game Preview: Turner Lions vs. Creekview Mustangs

Turner is 0-10 against Creekview since April of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Turner Lions will take on the Creekview Mustangs at 7:30 p.m.

Turner fell victim to Creekview and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to the Mustangs. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

For Creekview's part, the result came thanks to Mark Rojas's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks. Those six strikeouts gave Rojas a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Jorky Rondon was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted over his last 12 matches.

Creekview's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Turner, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
