Football Recap: Faith Christian Starts off Right with Win over Irvington Preparatory Academy

Faith Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 32-8 margin over Irvington Preparatory Academy on Friday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Eagles just coasted through the last quarter.

A big part of Faith Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between Jacob Hill and his top target Ezra Church. Hill picked up 31 receiving yards and one TD while Church rushed for 69 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Faith Christian will welcome Clinton Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, they will head out to square off against Purdue Poly Englewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
