After a string of four wins, Rio Americano's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Vista del Lago Eagles by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Eagles are ranked 109th).

Zach Brown and Isaac Carillo scored both of Rio Americano's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Rio Americano now has a losing record at 4-5-2. As for Vista del Lago, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-3 record this season.
