Trinity Christian Academy won the last time they faced Sports Leadership & Management, and Carter Kuzmin did his part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors put the hurt on the Giants with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday for which the team can thank Kuzmin, who had six kills, five aces, and four digs. He has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last six times he's played.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Trinity Christian Academy was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-13.
Meanwhile, Atlantic Christian entered their tilt with Forest Hill on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Falcons.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Atlantic Christian got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-10.
The victory made it two in a row for Trinity Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 12-2. As for Atlantic Christian, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6.
