Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Liberty faced off against Rockwood Summit on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jayli Tharp paced Liberty's offense, picking up eight kills. Tharp got some help from Jordyn Tune and her 13 assists.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7-4. As for Rockwood Summit, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9-1 record this season.

Liberty will venture away from home to face off against West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rockwood Summit, they will welcome Fox at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
