Poly hasn't had much luck against Chavez recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Parrots will welcome the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Poly is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Poly fell victim to San Fernando and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 14-0 to the Tigers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Parrots were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Chavez never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Arleta with a sharp 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Poly's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Chavez, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

Poly might still be hurting after the 14-4 defeat they got from Chavez when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Parrots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
