Volleyball Recap: Beatrice Orangemen vs. York Dukes
Beatrice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the York Dukes. The Orangemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dukes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11.
Beatrice's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for York, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Seward the next time they take the court. Beatrice will head out to face Seward at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while York will play them later in the day, at TBD.
