Soccer Game Preview: Avalon vs. Capistrano Valley Christian

The Avalon Lancers will challenge the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Avalon has given up an average of 3.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Avalon came up short against Yorba Linda on Saturday, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Avalon were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, Capistrano Valley Christian kept a clean sheet against Vista Meridian on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Meridian Eagles.

The victory got Capistrano Valley Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Avalon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
