After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Masuk, Notre Dame Prep was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ridgefield Tigers a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Notre Dame Prep and bumps their season record up to 11-12. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Ridgefield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Notre Dame Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-4 defeat against Joel Barlow on the 30th. As for Ridgefield, they will venture away from home to take on McMahon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
