Football Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against St. Mary's last Saturday, Lakeview came back down to earth. The Honkers were beaten by the Vale Vikings 41-0 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Honkers of the 34-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Lakeview now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Vale, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview will host Nyssa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vale, they will be playing at home against McLoughlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
