Baseball Recap: Mediapolis Picks Up 11th Straight Win on the Road

Mediapolis put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. They never let the Durant Wildcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in July of 2018.

Mediapolis pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.1 runs. As for Durant, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9.

Coming up, Mediapolis will challenge MFL MarMac on Tuesday. MFL MarMac will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mediapolis surely won't give up without a fight. Durant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
