Soccer Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Clinton has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell just short of the Germantown Mavericks by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Arrows were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Germantown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-1.

Clinton will challenge Tupelo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clinton's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Germantown, they will head out to face off against Starkville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
