Basketball Recap: Bellville Takes a Loss

Bellville was the 48-41 winner over Fayetteville when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Bellville Brahmas took a 74-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fayetteville Lions on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Brahmas still had to take the loss.

Bellville's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Fayetteville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

Coming up, Bellville will challenge Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Stafford will roll in looking for their 34th straight win, something Bellville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fayetteville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fayetteville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 234 points over their last three contests.
