Basketball Recap: PikeView Triumphs

PikeView hadn't done well against Woodrow Wilson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The PikeView Panthers walked away with a 53-46 win over the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Flying Eagles back in January, they had to take a 68-66 defeat.

Despite the loss, Woodrow Wilson saw an underclassman step up: freshman Zoey Williams on her way to 15 points and five rebounds. The matchup was Williams' third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Donya Burton, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals.
