Volleyball Recap: Wheeling Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Wheeling lost against Prospect back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

Wheeling may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20.

Wheeling's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10. As for Prospect, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Wheeling has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rolling Meadows on the 7th. As for Prospect, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hersey on the 8th.
