Volleyball Recap: Blackville-Hilda Comes Up Short

Blackville-Hilda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Horse Creek Academy Stallions. If the Fighting Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Stallions when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-15.

Blackville-Hilda's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Blackville-Hilda will square off against rival Ridge Spring-Monetta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Horse Creek Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Calhoun County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
