Laguna Acoma won the last time they faced Ramah and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs.

Kalie Poncho paced Laguna Acoma's offense, picking up nine kills. Poncho got some help from Leila Lorenzo and her 14 assists. Lorenzo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Laguna Acoma's victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9. As for Ramah, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Coincidentally, Laguna Acoma and Ramah will both be playing Dulce the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Hawks at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Hawks will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
