Archbishop Hoban had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Howland Tigers 3-0 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Archbishop Hoban took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-12.

Archbishop Hoban's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Howland, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-10.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Archbishop Hoban and Highland will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Howland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
