Volleyball Recap: Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since October 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Spring Valley Academy. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in August.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-15.

Serenity Abbott paced Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Abbott got some help from Kelsi Hiler and her 11 assists. Abbott was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Spring Valley Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Christian Academy will head out to square off against Temple Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Spring Valley Academy, they will be playing at home against Dominion Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
