Soccer Game Preview: West Point vs. Boulder Creek

The West Point Dragons are taking a road trip to challenge the Boulder Creek Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Point's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

West Point fell victim to Shadow Ridge and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Stallions, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Stallions are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Boulder Creek beat Flagstaff 3-1 on Friday. Jackson Gaydon had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Jaguars.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Boulder Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
