Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Brookfield Academy Blue Knights, falling 66-27. The contest marked the Mariners' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Brookfield Academy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis will square off against University School of Milwaukee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brookfield Academy, they will host Messmer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Brookfield Academy: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Messmer has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
