Calhoun waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the Adairsville Tigers by a score of 61-48. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 72-64 victory two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calhoun to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trace Hawkins, who went 7-for-17 en route to 16 points in addition to six boards and four steals. That's the most rebounds Hawkins has posted since back in January. Blake Hammett was another key player, going 6-for-11 to rack up 16 points and seven boards.

Calhoun pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.9 points. As for Adairsville, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-10.

Looking ahead, Calhoun will take on Jenkins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calhoun knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Jenkins likes a good challenge. Adairsville has already played their next contest (against Luella), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
