            Baseball Preview: Mountlake Terrace Hawks vs. Shorewood Stormrays        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Mountlake Terrace will face off against Shorewood. The Hawks will square off against the Stormrays at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The  squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Mountlake Terrace has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Shorewood will arrive with three straight  victories.
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Mountlake Terrace and Shorewood had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hawks lost  9-1 to the Stormrays on Friday. Hawks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Stormrays since  on Friday.
For Shorewood's part,  Joey Facilla made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Facilla has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Kanata Barber was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March.  Danny Morgan was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Shorewood  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
 Mountlake Terrace's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Shorewood, their record now sits at 10-3.
