New London is 3-0 against Wapello since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The New London Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Wapello Indians. New London will be strutting in after a win while Wapello will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with 20 defeats in a row dating back to last season, New London turned things around against Twin Cedars on Tuesday. They walked away with a 69-59 victory over the Sabers. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Wapello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Winfield-Mt. Union, falling 65-34.

Wapello's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for New London, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-19.

New London was able to grind out a solid victory over Wapello when the teams last played back in February of 2020, winning 53-42. Does New London have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wapello turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
