Volleyball Recap: Milano Takes a Loss

Milano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the C.H. Yoe Yoemen, falling 3-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yoemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Milano was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made C.H. Yoe work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-18, 25-9.

Milano's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for C.H. Yoe, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milano will take on Somerville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for C.H. Yoe, they will square off against Bruceville-Eddy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
