Avery Nielson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. She was dominant the last time she took on Tanque Verde back in March of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Nielson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than 11 strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Nielson and Sabino are taking a road trip to take on Thatcher at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
