Softball Recap: South Garland Titans vs. North Garland Raiders
South Garland and North Garland faced off in a cross-town battle on Friday. The South Garland Titans came up short against the North Garland Raiders, falling 25-7. The Titans have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.
Kimberly Rivera made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-4. That hit was her first of the season. Sydney Cruz was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
South Garland's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for North Garland, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-14.
Coming up, South Garland will head out to face off against Sachse at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
